On September 12, 2023, Endeavor closed its deal with WWE to combine UFC and WWE, creating TKO Group Holdings, Inc. The new entity began trading that day under the ticker symbol “TKO.” WWE Corporate+2TKO Group Holdings, Inc.+2

This was a big move in the sports entertainment world, merging two of the largest live-event brands under one umbrella. The intent was to leverage strengths in live events, media rights, licensing, sponsorship, and global reach. The combined companies had $2.4 billion in revenue in 2022, and had been growing around 10% annually since 2019.
